“World Trigger Season 3” teaser trailer was recently released tonight, using a cutscenes from the upcoming 3rd season. Not only will the main protagonists Yuma and Osamu appeared in this teaser, but Hughes – who recently joined Tamakoma No. 2 at the end of the second season as well. This season has a tremendous combat scenario involving rivals who face off against the main characters. The TV anime “World Trigger Season 3” will start broadcasting on October 9, 2021.
▪ SYNOPSIS
“World Trigger” follows Yuma as he joins Border, forms a strong group of loyal friends, and learns to use his special abilities to help defend Mikado City. Yuma has a rough past, as his father gave his life to create a Black Trigger for him when the boy was injured in combat and nearly died. In the Black Trigger, the Trion keeps him alive, and Yuma has a technological friend and bodyguard named Replica that accompanies him around at all times.
The rest of the Tamakoma 2nd Unit together with Osamu and Yuma, plan to train and achieve A-rank, to receive Border’s permission to visit the Neighbor world and battle them, as well as find a means to bring Yuma’s father back if at all possible. Season 3 will begin where Season 2 ended, in the middle of the manga’s B-Rank Battles Arc, in which Yuma and the rest of Tamakoma Second compete against other Border agents for the opportunity to advance to A-rank.
In this season, there’s a chance that the anime may catch up to the manga in terms of plot, therefore many fans are wondering if there will be another anime-only story arc.
