～OS☆U（おーえすゆー）とは～
2010年8月、東海地区最大と言われるオタク文化発祥の地「大須商店街」に誕生したアイドルグループ。2021年現在、1期生から11期生までのメンバーが在籍。
毎月18日・28日は大須商店街内での路上LIVEを開催（観覧無料）。
OS☆U（おーえすゆー）は大須発祥で、その名の通り大須（オース）が名前の由来。OSU＝オース＝推す＝応援するとのことから、人であったり、店舗であったり、活動であったりと、地域活性化に繋がる様々な人・物を「応援をする事」をコンセプトにしている。
また、8つの通りから構成される大須商店街には、大須商店街承認の下、各通りの広告塔として「推す推す隊」と呼ばれるPR大使を配属。赤門通PRビデオ（ https://goo.gl/la89Hq ）への参加をはじめ、地域に根付いた活動を精力的に行っており、大須商店街を散策すればすぐにOS☆Uのポスターやサイン等を見つける事ができる。
その他、愛知県・名古屋市等の自治体や愛知県赤十字血液センターをはじめ、多くの企業・団体とタイアップを行っている。NHK連続テレビ小説「あまちゃん」の影響でご当地アイドルが脚光を浴びた2013年には全国で開催された「NHKオンデマンドご当地アイドルランキングバトル」で１位を勝ち取り、2014年度NHKオンデマンド公式イメージキャラクターに就任した。
楽曲においては、2015年3月にリリースした「ガンガン☆ダンス」（ https://goo.gl/jVcged ）
ではオリコンウィークリーチャート第２位を獲得。2016年8月にはグループ内派生ユニット「LadyNote from OS☆U」・「まねきねこ from OS☆U」が同日にアルバムの
