↓Anime Synopsis
The Republic of San Magnolia.
For a long time, this country has been besieged by its neighbor, the Giadian Empire, which created a series of unmanned drones called the Legion. After years of painstaking research, the Republic finally developed autonomous drones of their own, turning the one-sided struggle into a war without casualties—or at least, that’s what the government claims.
In truth, there is no such thing as a bloodless war. Beyond the fortified walls protecting the eighty-five Republic territories lies the “nonexistent” Eighty-Sixth Sector. The young men and women of this forsaken land are branded the Eighty-Six and, stripped of their humanity, pilot the “unmanned” weapons into battle…
Shinn directs the actions of a detachment of young Eighty-Sixers while on the battlefield. Lena is a “handler” who commands the detachment from the remote rear with the help of special communication.
The farewell story of the severe and sad struggle of these two begins!

Vladilena Mirizé (Ikumi Hasegawa)
Elite fighter of the Republic, was promoted to major at the age of 16 years. She was instructed to lead the battle group “Spearhead” by means of the “Para-RAID” long-distance communication system directly from the territory of the Republic.
Shinei Nouzen (Shouya Chiba)
A resident of the 86th district. Leads a fighting force “Spearhead.” Owns advanced technology maneuvering, has experienced many battles. Callsign—”Gravedigger.”
Anju Emma (Saori Hayami)
While usually a graceful and modest girl, she reveals a ruthlessness on the battlefield comparable to any of the members of her squadron. Anju is also somewhat mischievous, conspiring with Kaie to tease Kurena about her affections for Shin.
She has a tendency to hide her feelings as mentioned by Shin when she broke down in tears during the fireworks display. She also tries to hide her past abuses, growing out her hair and not revealing her body to hide her scars from the other girls in Spearhead.
