昭和天皇・皇后両陛下には、紀元２６００年のよき年に迎えた明治神宮鎮座２０周年に際し、明治天皇ならびに昭憲皇太后の御神霊に親しく御拝礼の御為、秋深き１１月１５日、御同列の略式自動車鹵簿（ろぼ）にて宮城を御出門。御道筋に堵列（とれつ）する市民の奉拝を受けさせられつつ、晩秋の季濃き代々木の森に鎮座まします明治神宮に行幸啓あそばされ、天皇陛下には百武侍従長より奉る御玉串を御手にとらせ賜い、恭しく御拝あらせられ、皇后陛下にも広幡大夫より奉る御玉串を御手に御拝礼あそばされました。
