I revisited the drama #初恋の悪魔 and tried to see deeper into the story and experience it in a different way. I wish to thank #坂元裕二 for the incredible #脚本 – it is a lovely piece of art with mixed emotions, a exquisite present that we could keep in our hearts to remind us from time to time in many aspects of life.
I realised my favourite scene was the ending of #第二話, where 星砂 and 悠日 sat on the bank and chatted. 悠日 talked to his late brother on phone and was reduced to tears. #仲野太賀 ‘s acting took my breath and I could not help watching that scene again and again. He is a great actor!
I also felt incomplete with a handful of unfinished plots. I wish there is a sequel #続編 to the drama. Meanwhile I spotted that 鹿浜 told 星砂 about teaching her how to peel an apple before they parted, but then he did not manage to do that in the end. When he retrieved the garbage bag which he dumped the address note into, he kept the two apples. I have been obsessively wondering what that mean.
This music was derived from 星砂’s theme and made to accompany the poem “As I Began to Love Myself”. I knew about this poem for a long while and I think it would go well with the drama. They said it was written by #charliechaplin but some said it is just a rumour. Anyway, this is a beautiful poem that I think summarises the things you and I might have learned from the drama.
