日本テレビ系『ぐるナイゴチ23 クビは生放送で決定4時間半SP』（後7：00）が、29日に放送された。「ゴチになります！23」最終決戦を行い、生放送でクビが発表された。最大で3人がクビになる可能性があるが、最終戦の最下位が高杉真宙であることが発表されたタイミングで、池田エライザのクビが決定した。発表された瞬間、大粒の涙を流した。
『ゴチ』最終戦から生放送まで1ヶ月あまりが経過したことを受け、エライザは「めっちゃ悪夢見続けました」とポツリ。「まだやりたいゲームたくさんあるし、今やっと仲良くなれてこれたんじゃないかと思うからこそ、これからの池田エライザ楽しみにしてほしいなと。絶対に残りたいです！」と意気込んだ。 その後に順位が発表され、早速エライザが2位コール。「ほぼクビ」のプレートを渡されると、大粒の涙をこぼし「うーん、嫌だ！捨てない希望を」と声を振り絞った。
