What’s this channel all about? Well what are WE about?
– We film our videos in Malindi, Kenya. We moved to Malindi in 2020 after over a decade of living in US (and a lifetime for Max, a US citizen). Malindi is a beautiful coastal city in Kenya, near Kilifi, Lamu and Mombasa. We show you what real life in Malindi is like, including what to do in Malindi, Malindi towns, beaches and restaurants, top things to do in Malindi, and in general why this amazing place is our home.
– We are an interracial couple and being a black woman and a white man, we do face interesting challenges in going through this world together, especially in the times. We show you practically what our bwwm interracial marriage is all about, talk about our interracial dating and other funny interracial dating stories of our past and we bring you into our lives and comment on current issues.
– We are both into social justice, nerddom, the surreal, pro-mental health and enjoy lots of other other ideological musings. We often discuss these in a surreal podcast format. We are open on mental health, run a mental health website for Kenya on the site (mentalhealthKenya.com) and love to promote self care and as much mental health care as we have physical health care.
– We are NERDS and we love providing sci fi and horror movie and tv show reviews. We also enjoy science fiction and do occasional couple cosplay featuring our favorite characters from the Star Trek and Marvel universes.
