Haruko Shibuya is a “mundane and ordinary” high school student who feels as if she’s been left behind in the hustle and bustle of Tokyo. One day she meets Kenichi Kanagawa and falls deeply in love with him at first sight. Kenichi, who everyone thought was a serious student, suddenly quits school. With his new-found freedom, Kenichi meets and falls for femme fatale Mayumi.
