アイドルグループ「モーニング娘。’17」の牧野真莉愛さん（16）が8月29日、東京都内でファーストメジャー写真集「せんこう花火」（ワニブックス）の発売記念イベントを行った。写真集について、牧野さんは「16歳しかできないような大人っぽさや子供っぽさが出せた。いろんな牧野真莉愛を見ていただけるんじゃないかな」とアピールし、その出来栄えに「130点。プラス30点は（カメラマンに）うまく撮っていただいたので」と笑顔を見せた。
水着での撮影も多かったといい、「水着を着て元気な姿を見せられるのは16歳の今でしかない出せないところもたくさんあるので、ありがたいことだな」と話しつつ、家族には見せたかとの質問には「お母さんには見せたが、お父さんには見られたくない……。ちょっと恥ずかしいです」と語っていた。
写真集は沖縄で撮影され、水着や浴衣、セーラー服など、牧野さんの16歳の等身大の姿が収められている。A4判、80ページ。メーキングDVD付きで3000円。

Morning Musume, Maria Makino, Photo-book scores 130
On August 29th, Maria Makino (16) of the idol group “Morning Musume. ‘17” held an event to celebrate the launch of the photo-book “Senkou Hanabi” (Wanibooks) – the first photo-book in Tokyo.
Introducing about the photo-book, Makino said, “I have been able to expose very adult and childish features that only exist in the age of 16.I think that you will see much of Maria Makino in it” andrated with a smile, “my profession scores 130. 30 points are added because (the photographer) has taken photos successfully”.
She shared that there are many photos with swim wear.
She also said, “I feel grateful because I am able to express the strong appearance when wearing swim wear, many features can only be showed off by the current age of 16”.
When being asked whether she had showed the photo-book to her family or not, she answered, “I have showed it to my mother, but do not want to let my father see it…because I am a little bit shy”.
