Why this song?
While making this tribute video, I was thinking of what song to use. My best options would have been: My Days for You, Otome no Inori, or NEXT MY SELF. However, as I was listening through her songs, I came across this 2nd version of Uchi e Kaerou … the melody captured what I feel for Mano-chan’s graduation, and so I decided to use this song instead.
For the concept of this tribute, I tried visualizing how Erina and ManoFriends feel now that she will be leaving H!P. As the lyrics of the song talks about “home”, I used “home” as a metaphor for “direction in life”. This video shows some scenes of Mano-chan in solitude which I presented in the video as how she decides to graduate and pursue a new direction in life. Making this video made me recall a lot of memories — I will surely miss Mano-chan.
