女優の竹内結子さんと橋本愛さんが10月25日、東京都内で、「第28回東京国際映画祭（TIFF）」のコンペティション部門に出品されている主演ホラー映画「残穢（ざんえ）－住んではいけない部屋－」（中村義洋監督）の会見に登場。怖がりだと言う竹内さんは信頼する中村監督との5度目のタッグにして初めて「何で受けちゃったんだろう」と出演を後悔したことを明かし、橋本さんは、中村監督の「アヒルと鴨のコインロッカー」が大好きで「いつかご一緒したいと思っていました」と語った。
映画は、第26回山本周五郎賞を受賞した小野不由美さんの小説「残穢」が原作。ミステリー小説家である「私」（竹内さん）のもとに、女子大生の久保さん（橋本愛さん）という読者から「今住んでいる部屋で、奇妙な音がする」という手紙が届くことから物語は始まる。好奇心に誘われて調査を開始した2人は、過去にマンションに住んでいた人たちが、自殺や心中、殺人など、数々の事件を引き起こしていたことを知る。さらに調べを進めていくと、驚がくの真実が明らかになり……というストーリー。2016年1月30日から公開。

Actress Yuko Takeuchi and Ai Hashimoto appeared at the press conference on the horror movie “The Inerasable” (directed by Yoshihiro Nakamura) where she plays the main role, which has been submited to the competition categories at “The 28th Tokyo International Film Festival (TIFF)” held in Tokyo on October 25th. Takeuchi, who said she ‘s a timid person, revealed that this is the 5th time she was tagged in her trusted director Nakamura, but also the first time she regrets on acting in the movie:”I didn’t know why I received the role!” .
