Grok Imagineの動画生成クオリティが素晴らしいです。
Grok Imagineについて触れるのは、2026年2月23日以来ですね。
その時の記事はこちら。
2025年10月から開始した、「寄せるメカ娘」をテーマにメカ娘を動画化するシリーズです。
毎回、ほぼ同じプロンプトで生成しているため、プロンプトに対する生成結果の変化を定点観察的に観ることができます。
ご存じの通りGrok Imagineは公式からアナウンスのある大型アップデートの他、小変更から大変更まで含めたサイレントアップデートが行われています。
何のアップデートでもいえることですが、必ずしもそれが「良い方向」に変わるとは限らないですよね。
わたしの主観ですが、Grok Imagineの「アニメ絵の動画化」に関しては、高頻度で「悪い方向」に変わってきたと思います。
詳しくは記事をご覧いただきたいと思いますが、わたしの主観では2026年1月3日のバージョンが最も元絵およびプロンプトに忠実に動画化してくれたと思っています。
ずっとそのままならば良かったのですが、忘れもしない2026年1月19日頃、この近辺に行われたアップデートによって、アニメ絵の動画化に関して、大きく変わりました。
悪い方向に。
明らかにクオリティが落ちて、芝居（動き）もオーバーで自然な感じが一切なく、致命的なのがキャラクター同一性をまったく再現・維持ができなくなりました。

元絵を維持するどころか
再現する気が無いとしか思えない。
なので、
わたしは2026年1月18日を最後に
「寄せるメカ娘」の投稿を終了しました。
前述の通り、Grok Imagineは頻繁にアップデートが行われているため、その後も毎日、同一イラスト・プロンプトで生成して定点観測をしていたのですが、一向に改善どころか、元に戻る気配がありませんでした。
そんな状況が続いたので、いつしか定点観測も辞めてしまったのですが、
ある日ふと思い立って久しぶりに生成してみたところ、以前のクオリティに極めて近い、あるいはそれよりも良い動画を生成できることに気付きました。
それが、2026年4月25日
よく見ると、ヘッドギアの形状が途中で変化してしまっているので、以前よりも一貫性の維持ができていないのですが、それでも2026年1月19日以降のバージョンよりはずっと良いです。
あのクオリティのGrok Imagineが戻ってきた！
めちゃくちゃ嬉しかったですね。
Grok Imagine / Agent mode
「寄せるメカ娘」シリーズは、Agent modeで生成しています。
基本的な生成は変わらないのですが、
という理由からAgent modeを常用しています。
Agent modeは続き生成をするのが楽
元絵から動画を生成し、良いのができた段階で、この動画を選択して続き生成のプロンプトを入力すると、最終フレームから続きが生成されます。

ということをしなくて良いので楽ですね。
Agent modeは続き生成で色味が変わらない
Agent modeを使わずに、手動で続き生成をすると、どういうわけか色味が変わってしまいます。具体的には「黄色味」が強くなる？
なぜ同じGrok Imagineで挙動が異なるのかわかりませんが、Agent modeでは一切色味が変わらないです。
ひょっとすると、最終フレームをPNGで保存するときに減色されているのかもしれませんね。
この理屈ならば、Agent modeではフレーム抽出して直接続きを生成しているので減色処理による色味の変化がない、ということになりそうです。
知らんけど。
Agent modeは動画の結合が楽
Agent modeを使わない場合は、動画編集アプリで編集によって結合することになりますが、Agent modeではこれもプロンプトで実行できます。
もっとも、Agent modeには簡単な動画編集機能として「結合」があるので、これを使っても同じことです。
結合時に気になることとして、1つ目の動画の最終フレームと、2つ目の動画の開始フレームが「ダブる」ため、動画の切り替え時に同一フレームが重複することで一瞬止まって見えてしまうことがあります。
Agent modeでもやっていることは同じなのですが、稀にこれがうまく接続されてまったく「つなぎ目」をわからなくできることがあります。
これと、前述の色味の変化のことも含めると、Agent modeで生成するほうが良い、というわけですね。
ただ、個人的に「エージェント機能」って、どうも馴染めないんですよね。
何回指示してもまったく違うことをすることがあるし、そのくせ生成回数はきっちり消費するし。
というわけで、
「寄せるメカ娘」シリーズが復活しました。
…誰にも求められていないけど。
