［エルサレム／ワシントン １９日 ロイター］ – トランプ米大統領は１９日、イスラエルのネタニヤフ首相に対しイスラエルがイランの主要ガス田を攻撃したような行動を繰り返さないよう伝えたと述べた。同時に、米国とイスラエルは行動を調整しているとも語った。

イラン南部ブシェール州サウスパースにある ガス田の関連施設が攻撃されたことを受け、
イランは湾岸諸国の石油・ガス関連施設を標的にすると警告。
カタールのエネルギー拠点を攻撃したほか、サウジアラビアに向けてミサイルを発射し、紛争が激化する懸念が高まっている。
トランプ氏は１８日、自身の交流サイト（ＳＮＳ）に「米国はこの攻撃について何も知らなかった」と投稿し、イスラエルが行ったものとの認識を示したが、イスラエル当局者３人はロイターに対し、この攻撃は米国と調整のうえで実施され、米国は認識していたと述べていた。
トランプ氏は１９日、ホワイトハウスの大統領執務室で記者団に対し、この攻撃を事前に把握していたか、また事前に承認したかについては明言を避けたものの、ネタニヤフ氏に「もうやらないよう伝えた」とし、「彼はもうやらないだろう」と語った。その上で、「われわれは独自に行動するが、関係は良好だ。協調している」と述べた。ただ、ネタニヤフ氏といつ話したかについては明確にしなかった。
