[ヴィリニュス ９日 ロイター] – リトアニア政府は９日、気球を使ったベラルーシからの密輸が公共の安全を脅かしているとして、緊急事態宣言を発令した。
ベラルーシが気象観測気球を利用したたばこの密輸を容認しており、ビリニュス空港で繰り返し運航停止が起きているとリトアニア側は非難している。
コンドラトビッチ内相はライブ配信された政府会議で「民間航空の混乱にとどまらず、国家安全保障上の利益のためにも緊急事態宣言を発令する」と述べた。
同相は緊急事態宣言により軍の作戦上の自由度が増し、警察と連携して行動することも可能になると説明した。詳細は明らかにせず、緊急事態の適用期間も示していない。
