ニューヨークで暮らすとあるアジア人夫婦。ある日、息⼦の誘拐事件をきっかけに夫婦が抱える秘密が浮き彫りとなり、崩壊していく家族を描いたヒューマンサスペンス。台湾の女優、グイ・ルンメイさんが、西島さん演じる日本人の賢治の妻役を演じる。
ニューヨークで暮らす日本人の賢治と台湾系アメリカ人の妻ジェーンは、仕事や育児、介護と日常に追われ、余裕のない日々を過ごしていた。ある日、幼い息子が誘拐され、殺人事件へと発展する。悲劇に翻弄（ほんろう）される中で、口に出さずにいたお互いの本音や秘密が露呈し、夫婦間の溝が深まっていく。二人が目指していたはずの“幸せな家族”は再生できるのか……というストーリー。
