[Music] Dearly beloved, how are you? Are you well? The Lord’s mercies on you every morning. As soon as you wake up in the morning, you must praise God and receive that grace. Only then will the Lord’s presence be with you throughout that day. Not only that, aren’t you praying about many things? You are praying for your needs, miracles, healing, deliverance, and many such things. But there is something that we ought to pray for. That’s what the Lord wants me to point out to you from the scriptures today. Psalm 143:10. There was a man of God called David. God raised him, an ordinary shepherd boy, to be the king of a nation. The Lord performed great and mighty things through him in his time. His star is the only one present on the flag of Israel. It’s called the star of David. The people of Israel will never forget him. It was through him that the Lord strengthened that nation. What could be the reason for the Lord to raise an ordinary person to such a high position? He did what was pleasing to the Lord. The Lord himself testifies to this. David is the man after my own heart. He will do all my will. Do you know the secret behind this? He prays beautifully like this. Teach me to do your will, O Lord. Did you truly see his heartfelt prayer? David humbly says to the Lord, “Lord, please teach me to do what genuinely pleases you. I should not do what pleases me. I should not do what pleases men either. But I should do that which pleases you. Teach me to do that and guide me,” he prays. I love this prayer very much and I do this often as well. Particularly I fast and pray for myself every Wednesday. Praying for the nation and others is secondary. First thing is praying for myself. I fast every Wednesday and sit at the feet of the Lord for a few hours and pray. I will pray for my family, my wife, daughter, son-in-law, grandson and everyone else. I will also pray for the trustees and leaders in the Jesus redeems ministry. When I pray for myself, I use this verse. I must do your will. Forgive me if I did something that has not pleased you. Show me what it is. When I wait in prayer, sometimes the Lord will convict me of something. This doesn’t please me. I’m not pleased with what you did. I will confess it and pray. Lord, I should never repeat it. I must always do that which pleases you. I will commit myself and pray. This is a very important prayer. When we commit ourselves and pray, the Holy Spirit will take control and guide us. When things that do not please the Lord cross our way, he himself will remove them. He will lead you in the right path. Even in your life, have this goal in mind. Pray often saying Jesus teach me to do your will. Not only my prayer but there are many things mentioned in the scriptures as pleasing to God. I will meditate upon those scriptures and commit myself to do accordingly. Primarily in 1 Timothy 2:es 1:4 it says to pray for all people that they may be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. It is written that this is pleasing before our God. I will find those scriptures and commit myself to walk accordingly. That’s why he is leading me so beautifully. So will you say this placing your hand on your heart? Jesus teach me to do your will. Let me walk in a way that pleases you. Let me do your will. Let me speak as you desire. I do not want anything that does not please you. Guard me and guide me in the name of Jesus. Amen. Amen.
