爆心地からわずか800メートルの地点にある長崎・山王神社に現存する“被爆クスノキ”を題材とした2014年発表の楽曲「クスノキ」。
そのクスノキの視点を通して「すべての生命が等しく生きられる世界」への願い、「生命の尊さ、逞しさ」という普遍的なメッセージが描かれています。
戦後80年を迎える今年、新たに編曲された「クスノキ-500年の風に吹かれて-」として、6月30日にデジタルリリースされることが決定しました。
楽曲配信の利益の一部は、「長崎クスノキプロジェクト」を通して長崎市の【クスノキ基金】に寄付されます。
