トランプ関税、米自動車メーカーに1080億ドルのコスト増も＝調査  | ロイター

[デトロイト １０日 ロイター] – 米ミシガン州にある自動車研究センター（ＣＡＲ）が１０日発表した調査によると、トランプ大統領が３日に発動した２５％の自動車関税は、２０２５年に米国内の自動車メーカーに約１０８０億ドルのコスト増をもたらすことになる。

米３大自動車メーカー（ビッグスリー）のフォード・モーター(F.N), opens new tab、ゼネラル・モーターズ（ＧＭ）(GM.N), opens new tab、ステランティス(STLAM.MI), opens new tabにとっては４２０億ドルのコスト増と分析している。

ビッグスリーが米国で生産する自動車に使用する輸入部品の１台当たりの関税コストは平均４９１１ドルと、業界全体の４２３９ドルより高くなると試算された。輸入車の場合は１台当たりの関税コストは業界全体が平均８７２２ドル、ビッグスリーは８６４１ドルと見積もっている。

メキシコとカナダで生産された自動車は関税の対象となるが、３カ国の貿易協定である米・メキシコ・カナダ協定（ＵＳＭＣＡ）に準拠する自動車部品は当面関税が免除される。

この関税措置に対応するためＧＭはインディアナ州工場でトラックを増産し、ステランティスはメキシコとカナダの工場の生産を一時停止している。

ビッグスリーを代表する米自動車政策評議会は声明で、この調査は「２５％の関税が自動車業界に大きなコストを強いることを示している」とし、３社は米国の自動車生産拡大という共通の目標を達成するために政権との対話を続けていく意向を表明した。
