SSFF ＆ ASIA 2024 秋の国際短編映画祭 ハイライトムービー/Screening in Autumn Highlight Movie

26年目を迎えたSSFF ＆ ASIA。
今年も世界120の国と地域から5000点を超える作品が集まり、約200作品が上映されました。
秋の国際短編映画祭では、赤坂インターシティ コンファレンスにて「ショートドラマと広告の最前線」を探るBRANDED SHORTSのトークイベント、ユーロライブ、東京都写真美術館、ユナイテッド・シネマアクアシティお台場にて、SSFF & ASIA 2024グランプリ＝ジョージ・ルーカスアワードを受賞した、森崎ウィン監督の『せん』をはじめ、各部門優秀賞や選りすぐりのノミネート作品を一堂に集め、上映しました。
さらに、東京国際映画祭（TIFF）が新設した「ウィメンズ・エンパワーメント部門」と連携し、世界の女性監督によるプログラムや、ナビゲーターを務める菊地凛子さん主演作品『風の音に悩まされる』も特別上映しました。
北村匠海さん初監督作品『世界征服やめた』ワールドプレミアイベントや、今年のグランプリを獲得したミュージカルショートフィルム『せん』の脚本と作詞を手掛けた演出家・脚本家、上田一豪さんとWOWOWプロデューサーの射場好昭さんを迎えてのトークセミナー、トラウデン直美さんが登場するMILBON BEAUTY MOVIESのトークイベントも実施しました。
また、スイスと日本の国交160周年を記念し『スイス特集：日本を見つめるスイス』、韓国ショートプログラムと盛りだくさんな企画を展開いたしました。

Academy Awards® accredited and one of Asia’s largest international short film festivals, Short
Shorts Film Festival (SSFF & ASIA) held annual “Screening in Autumn” (co-organized by Tokyo Metropolitan Government).
This year, in addition to the screening of 2024 award winning shorts, specially invited short films
“Haunted by the Sound of the Wind” starring globally recognized actress who became the
ambassador of Tokyo International Film Festival, Rinko Kikuchi and “The Chicken” by Neo Sora whose feature film was nominated Venice Film Festival were showcased.
Furthermore, “Women in Focus program” (in cooperation with TIFF), commemorating the 160th
anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and Switzerland “Swiss Eyes on Japan” program, and “Korean Shorts” program were also screened.
As the Online Grand Theater limited program, “Craft Stories Around Japan” had global streaming. 6 short films which depict drama of craftsman and their surroundings in Japan.
