みなさんこんにちは！マカオから季節のご挨拶です！冬はいつもこんなに寒いのですか？マカオはそんなに寒くないですよ。みなさんの優しい言葉、継続的なサポート、励ましが私の心を温めてくれます！
Hello everyone! Seasons Greetings all the way from Macau! Is Winter always this cold? Well, it isn’t too cold here in Macau, because I feel warm in the heart for all your support and encouraging kind words!
2022年末、チャンネル登録者数は1,000人に迫っていました。その後、ちょうど6か月かかって2023年6月に1,500人に到達しました。その後、さらに6か月かかって2,000人に到達し、それが2024年の初めでした。そして今日、私は次のマイルストーンを待つべきだと思っています。なぜなら、2025年の初め頃には10,000人を超えるはずだからです！多くの人にとって、それは大したことではありません。私にとっても、何と言っていいかわかりません。なぜなら、音楽を始めたばかりの頃はソーシャルメディアが何なのか知らなかったからです。今、私が知っていることといえば、音楽を通じてオンラインとオフラインの両方で他の人に喜びを届けること、人々の顔に笑顔をもたらし、もしかしたら懐かしい思い出を呼び起こすことに集中することが重要だということだけです。ソーシャルメディアの扱い方については、想像以上に複雑なので、まだよくわかっていません。幸運なことに、ソーシャルメディアの問題を手伝ってくれる小さなチームに恵まれているので、音楽と勉強に集中できます。私が知っていることといえば、皆さんからいただいたポジティブなフィードバックやサポートにいつも感謝しています。10,000人に到達するのは非常に難しいと聞きました。私はソーシャルメディアの技術についてはあまり詳しくありませんが、皆さんのサポートと優しい言葉をすべて受け取っていることは知っています。皆さん、本当に感謝しています。
At around the same time in 2022, the number of subscribers I have with my YouTube channel was close to 1,000; it took exactly 6 months for it to each 1,500 in June 2023; it took another 6 months for it to reach 2,000. And today, I think I should be waiting for the next milestone, as the number should be rolling over 10,000 around the beginning of 2025! To many, it is no big deal. To me, I don’t know what to say either, because when I first started to play music, I had no idea what social media was. Half way through it, I only know it is important to focus on sharing joy to others both online and offline via music, plus putting a smile on people’s face and perhaps help bring back fond memories. I am lucky because I have small team of people helping me handle this social media thing, and I was told I should be grateful and excited I am getting all your positive feedback and support! They told me it is very difficult to reach 10,000. I don’t know much about the technicalities , but what I DO know is, I have been getting your support and kind words, and I really appreciate it.

If I am not wrong, when the number rolls over 10,000, I will get help from my small production team and perhaps I’ll post videos other than music ones once in a while, and perhaps I should start preparing now. Guess what kind of video I am planning to prepare? The hint is, I will start collecting questions from you. I can’t promise I will be able to answer all of them, but for the coming couple of weeks, if you have questions about anything, please ask in the comment section. Tell me, would that be a pretty interesting idea?

Meanwhile, I have prepared “Nagasaki Memories” (cover) for you. I am adopting a version Gerry McGee did on stage in Japan using a electric classical guitar. The Ventures from California wrote this beautiful Japanese styled song over 50 years ago. I hope you will like it!
