Indian double mutant strain detected among 4 air passengers in Dibrugarh

Four air passengers, who arrived at Dibrugarh airport around a week ago, were found positive for the B.1.617 strain or the Indian double mutant of the novel coronavirus on Thursday during random testing.

The samples were randomly collected and were tested at the IMRC-RMRC Dibrugarh and were found positive of the double mutant.
