⭐️衣替え koromo gae = seasonal change of clothing
Putting away summer clothes and taking the winter clothes out
⭐️一期一会 ichigo ichie = Treasure every encounter, for it will never recur.
⭐️自業自得 jigou jitoku = What goes around comes around
⭐️優柔不断 yuujuu fudan = indecisive / wishy – washy
⭐️ごまをする goma wo suru = grinding sesami seeds = to flatter someone with the intention of getting something / to butter someone up
Noun ごますり gomasuri
⭐️ 親のスネをかじる oya no sune wo kajiru = (literal meaning) = to nibble at one’s parents shins = to sponge off one’s parents / to financially depend on one’s parents
⭐️鳥肌が立つ torihada ga tatsu = to get goose bumps
⭐️早とちりする haya tochiri suru = jumping to conclusions
⭐️時が経てばわかる toki ga tateba wakaru = Only time will tell.

⭐️喉から手が出るほど欲しい nodo kara te ga deru hodo hoshii = to want something bad/ to want something desperately
⭐️澄んだことは仕方がない = sunda koto wa shikata ga nai = What’s done is done.
⭐️ 風の便りに〜と聞いた kaze no tayori ni 〜to kiita

⭐️食わず嫌い kuwazu girai = 食べず嫌い tabezu girai = to avoid / dislike some food without even having tried it.
⭐️朝飯前 asameshi mae = ( before breakfast ) = easy to do , It’s a piece of cake.
⭐️いい人 iihito = 人がいい hito ga ii = nice person / good natured person
Also means a gullible person. A person who is too nice and trusts anybody.
⭐️高嶺の花 takane no hana = out of one’s league
⭐️息がぴったり合う iki ga pittari au = doing something together smoothly / in sync
合わない awanai = not in sync
⭐️相性がいい aishou ga ii = to have a good chemistry
相性が悪い aishou ga warui = to have a bad chemistry (with someone)
⭐️何事もやってみるまでわからない nanigoto mo yatte miru made wakaranai.
You never know until you try.
⭐️不可能を可能にする fukanou wo kanou ni suru = Make the impossible possible
