Originally, I was just going arrange ‘a life’ for alto saxophone and piano, but the soprano saxophone became such an obvious choice for the middle section… I even threw a bit of clarinet in there for good measure!
The opening sequence to Japan Sinks 2020 on Netflix is so beautifully animated and the whole sequence becomes more and more haunting as the series progresses – You should definitely check it out, even if you’re not interested in watching the series!
