「LAの開放的な雰囲気もあって、とても充実した撮影ができました！初めての水中撮影、初めてのほろ酔い姿、初めてのランジェリー姿、いままで見せたことが無い色んな新しい私が満載です。
先行カットの水中の写真は気づかないうちに撮られていたので、びっくりしました！でも、メンバーがお尻がプリっとしてかわいいねと言ってくれるので、少し恥ずかしいけど自然体でいい写真だなと思っています。
約5年ぶりのソロ写真集で、前回が17歳。今回の作品は22歳のオトナになった私がつまっています。写真を見た秋元先生も大絶賛してくださり、私にとっても自信作になりました。早くみなさんに見ていただいきたいです！」

“Because of the open atmosphere of LA, I was able to take a very fulfilling shot! The first underwater shot, the first tipsy appearance, the first lingerie appearance, and a lot of new me I have never seen before.
I was surprised because the underwater photo of the preceding cut was taken without realizing it! However, the members tell me that the buttocks are pretty and cute, so I’m a little embarrassed, but I think it’s a natural photo.
It is the first solo photo book in about 5 years, the last time was 17 years old. This time, I am a 22-year-old adult. Professor Akimoto, who saw the photo, praised me so much that it made me confident. I want everyone to see it soon! ”
-芸能界引退
2020年6月1日、所属事務所のプロダクション尾木からの発表という形で、「健康上の理由で芸能活動を続けていくことが難しい」という本人からの申し入れを尊重し、5月31日を以て契約を終了し事務所を退所したことが明らかにされ、芸能界を引退することが発表された。AKB48の元祖「神7」メンバー内で最年少ながら、この中で芸能界引退は渡辺が初となった。6月1日、事務所からの発表後に渡辺は自身のツイッターで事務所退所と芸能界引退をファンに向けて報告した。同日深夜にSNSアカウントと公式サイトなどが閉鎖された。

アカウント閉鎖前の最後となる2020年6月1日17時の芸能界引退を報告するツイートには、深夜0時すぎまでに約42万件の「いいね」と、多数のコメントが寄せられた。中国のSNS「ウェイボー」でも多数のコメントが投稿された。
また、6月1日に芸能界引退が発表されると、AKB48の公式YouTubeチャンネルで「まゆゆ、ありがとう。」と題した再生リストが作成された。
