Yurina Yanagi (柳 ゆり菜, April 19, 1994 -) is a Japanese female gravure idol and actress. After working for Evergreen Entertainment (until March 2021), she joined Animo Produce (from June 1, 2021).
She is from Suminoe Ward, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture.
She loves dancing enough to attend the dance and vocal school EXPG (EXILE PROFESSIONAL GYM) Osaka school, and she has also served as a backup dancer for EXILE.
In April 2013, she won a special award at Evergreen Entertainment’s first audition “smart Boys & Girlfriend Audition”.
She made her film debut and starred in Uwakoi, which was released on May 31, 2014.[7]
In the 23rd episode of the NHK morning drama “Massan” broadcast on October 24, 2014, she became a hot topic when she played a half-naked model of “Sun Wine” modeled after the Akadama port wine poster.
In 2015, the web version of “Weekly Playboy”, “Weekly Pre-NEWS”, surveyed for the first time “Gravure Idol Cover Appearance Ranking” (covering 20 major magazines). Get the seat of “gravure queen” [9].
In 2018, she played the role of the heroine in “Junpei, Think Again”, which was officially submitted to the “World Greats” section of the 42nd Montreal World Film Festival.
On April 1, 2021, she announced that she had left her agency, Evergreen Entertainment, as of the previous day. On June 1, she announced her affiliation with Animo Produce.
Her favorite food is boiled gyoza, and it is said that the process of making her skin makes you want to eat it.
She has a fear of heights.
For four years after she moved to Tokyo when she was 19, she lived with her older sister Yanagi Iroha in an eight-tatami-mat studio, and forcibly slept on a semi-double bed.
She cut her hair 40 centimeters in December 2016 to prepare for her movie role in which she plays the heroine, making her the first ever very short hairstyle in her life.
Her specialty is dancing.
She got a driver’s license when she played the role of Sakura Kakamigahara in the TV drama “Yuru Camp”.
Her older sister is Iroha Yanagi, a gravure idol, and her mother is Kiyo Fukui, a former talent.
On December 5, 2015, at a handshake event held at a bookstore in Shinjuku Ward, Tokyo, a man who was participating in the handshake event as a fan of Yanagi grabbed and pulled Yanagi’s right arm. A man has been arrested for a red-handed assault charge. She announced that Yanagi was not injured and that she was safe on Twitter, which was updated on the 10th after receiving the report.
On December 16, 2015, a teenage boy was sent to the prosecutor’s office on suspicion of intimidation because she wrote on Twitter that she would harm Yanagi by “kidnapping” her. Due to a series of similar posts, her agency consulted with the police in July.

2014年10月24日放送のNHK朝ドラ『マッサン』第23話で、赤玉ポートワインポスターをモデルにした「太陽ワイン」の半裸モデルを演じて話題となった。
『週刊プレイボーイ』のウェブ版「週プレNEWS」が2015年に初めて調査した「グラビアアイドル表紙登場回数ランキング」（主要20誌が対象）で、同年上半期の1位（13回登場）となり、“初代グラビアクイーン”の座を得る[9]。
2018年、ヒロイン役で出演した『純平、考え直せ』が、第42回モントリオール世界映画祭の「World Greats」部門に正式出品される。
2021年4月1日、前日付けで所属事務所のエヴァーグリーン・エンタテイメントを退所したことを発表した。6月1日、アニモプロデュースへの所属を発表した。
大好物に水餃子を挙げており、皮は作る過程から食べたくなるという。
高所恐怖症である。
19歳の時に上京してから4年間、姉・柳いろはと共に8畳のワンルームに住み、セミダブルのベッドに無理矢理ふたりで寝ていた。
2016年12月、ヒロイン役を務める映画の役作りのために髪を40センチメートル切り、人生初のベリーショートの髪型になった。
特技はダンス。
テレビドラマ『ゆるキャン△』では各務原桜役を演じるに際し、自動車免許を取得した。
姉はグラビアアイドルの柳いろは、母は元タレントの福井希容[5]。
2015年12月5日、東京都新宿区の書店で開催された握手会で、ファンとして握手会に参加していた男性が柳の右腕をつかんだり、引っ張ったりする事件が起きた。男性は暴行の現行犯で逮捕された。柳に怪我はなく、報道を受けて10日に更新したTwitterでも無事である事を発表した。
2015年12月16日、柳に対し「誘拐する」などの危害を加える趣旨の内容をTwitter上に書き込んだとして、10代の少年が脅迫の疑いで書類送検された。同様の書き込みが相次いだため、所属事務所が7月に警察に相談していた。
